Brief Statement of research work

Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor at the Government College University, Faisalabad (GCUF) Pakistan, and a PhD graduate of the School of Physics at Dalian University of Technology (DUT), P.R. China. My doctoral research focused on the Hierarchical nanostructures of transition metal compounds on 3D porous frameworks for efficient non-enzymatic glucose sensing. My research interests are centered on eco-friendly energy storage materials (like supercapacitors), non-enzymatic glucose sensing, microwave absorption materials, and the detection of heavy metal ions. I have a significant publication record, with 57 research papers (h-index:18) and a book chapter in my credit, many of which are in highly reputable international journals. My contributions to the field have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Outstanding Graduate Award-2023 and the Best Academic Achievement Award-2023 from DUT, as well as the Research Productivity Award-2023 & 2024 from GCUF. I successfully supervised four (04) M.Phil. students and three (03) PhD students currently under my guidance. The Department of Physics at GCUF is a vibrant hub for both education and cutting-edge research. The department's mission is to produce highly skilled physicists who can contribute to the nation scientific and technological progress. With a diverse and highly qualified faculty, the department offers specialized research opportunities in key areas such as condensed matter physics, material physics, energy storage materials, plasma physics, semiconductor materials, and nanotechnology.
