Brief Statement of research work
My research primarily focuses on the impact of metabolic syndrome on reproductive capacity and vice versa. We use animals models to perform in-vivo studies to explore the interplay between metabolic signals and sex steroids. We also use human clinical data to interpret trends, if any, among different age groups, gender, and chronicity of metabolic syndrome. It is pertinent to mention here that we as a country rank no.1 globally in terms of metabolic disorders namely diabetes mellitus.
