Brief Statement of research work

My professional journey began as a Study Coordinator at the Animal Husbandry InService Training Institute, Peshawar, followed by roles as Research Associate at UAF and Woman Livestock Production Officer in the Livestock and Dairy Development Department. In 2003, I joined UAF as a Lecturer, marking the start of a long and impactful academic career. With over 25 years of teaching and research experience, I have instructed undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Animal Nutrition. I have supervised 13 PhD and 56 MSc (Hons)/MS students, published over 160 high-impact articles, authored 2 books, book 5 Chapters, and presented my research in countries including the USA, UK, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, South Korea, China, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand. I have secured more than 12 public and private industry research funding and organized multiple international symposiums, seminars, and workshops. I am an active member of the National Curriculum Revision Committee (NCRC), HEC, and have been recognized with Research Productivity Awards (PCST), University incentives, and prestigious distinctions, including Izaz-iFazeelat (Presidential Award), a Gold Medal, and the Star Laureate Award.
