Brief Statement of research work

My research focuses on corporate governance, executive compensation, and sustainability (ESG) practices, examining how governance structures and managerial incentives influence firm performance and long-term value creation. I primarily conduct empirical research using firm-level financial and governance data to understand how internal organizational mechanisms shape strategic decisions and outcomes. A key stream of my work investigates the alignment between executive compensation and firm performance, exploring how compensation design affects managerial behavior and corporate efficiency. In recent years, my research has expanded toward ESG-related issues, particularly how sustainability initiatives contribute to firm competitiveness through intangible assets such as knowledge capital and organizational capital. I am also interested in exploring potential trade-offs within ESG dimensions, including the possible substitution effects between environmental initiatives and social outcomes. Overall, my research aims to provide evidence-based insights that inform academia, policymakers, and corporate decision-makers, especially in emerging market contexts
