Brief Statement of research work

My research interests include: Kinetic and thermodynamic characterization of proteins; Their heterologous expression in prokaryotic / eukaryotic expression systems; Elucidation of their activation / inhibition mechanisms; Immobilization of proteins (enzymes), microbial cells on nanoscale polymeric materials and their characterization; Molecular determination of mycotoxin biosynthesis genes and biological decontamination of mycotoxins; Biosynthesis profiling of probiotics and determination of their bioprotective effects; Green synthesis of nanoparticles (e.g. silver, zinc, rosin) to evaluate their biotechnological applications; CRISPR-Cas mediated metabolic pathway engineering of microbial cells for high value industrial products; In-Silico analysis of proteins, phylogenetic analysis, protein 3D-structure modeling, molecular docking, computer aided drug designing and gRNA designing for CRISPR-Cas.
