Brief Statement of research work

Dr. Akram's research expertise encompasses the synthesis and characterization of polymers and composites, particularly polyurethanes and their diverse derivatives such as elastomers, foams, emulsions, adhesives, coatings, nanocomposites, and biocomposites. Her current research is dedicated to developing eco-friendly and biocompatible polymers, alongside the synthesis of polymeric membranes for energy harvesting devices. She also actively investigates the conversion of renewable energy sources into valuable products, aiming to contribute to sustainable energy solutions through innovative polymeric materials and energy conversion technologies.
