Brief Statement of research work

My research focuses on the formative phase of Islamic Fiqh, with particular emphasis on critically analysing Orientalists' perspectives on Islamic legal and intellectual traditions. I examine the primary sources of Islamic jurisprudence, such as the Quran, Sunnah, Ijma, and Qiyas, while responding academically to modern revisionist approaches. My work also explores Hadith sciences and Seerah studies, highlighting the methodological contributions of classical and contemporary Muslim scholars. In addition, I engage with interfaith studies, religious harmony, minority rights, and the socio-religious dynamics of the Subcontinent. Through analytical and critical research published in HEC-recognised journals, I aim to connect classical Islamic scholarship with contemporary intellectual and societal challenges.
