Brief Statement of research work

My research work focuses on educational psychology, psychometrics, technology-enhanced learning, and student academic development in higher education. I have contributed to empirical research examining innovative instructional strategies, student support systems, and measurement validation within the Pakistani educational context. My published research includes investigating the effectiveness of Infographic-Based Learning (IBL) in improving university students??? academic success, highlighting the role of visual learning strategies in enhancing educational outcomes. I have also conducted psychometric validation studies, including the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) of the Peer Support Perception Scale (PSPS) to establish its reliability and validity among university students in Pakistan. Additionally, I examined the construct validity of the Academic Procrastination Scale through CFA, providing a reliable instrument for assessing academic procrastination in Pakistani universities. Through these studies, I have developed expertise in quantitative research methods, psychometric analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, scale validation, and educational intervention research. My broader research interests include academic procrastination, cyberloafing, internet addiction, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), educational technology, student well-being, and factors influencing academic achievement. The findings of my research contribute to evidence-based educational practices and the development of valid assessment tools for higher education research and policy formulation.
