Brief Statement of research work

Dr. Imran is an Assistant Professor whose research interests include economic history, policy analysis, Tax policy, behavioral economics, and environmental and resource economics. He earned his Ph.D. from Free University of Berlin. During his academic career, he also served as a visiting researcher at University of British Columbia Vancouver Canada and as a junior researcher at Saint Petersburg State University Russia. In 2025, he secured a competitive research grant worth PKR 3 million from Pakistan Institute of Development Economics and successfully completed the project in 2026.
