Brief Statement of research work

My research focuses on corporate governance, accounting, sustainability, and information systems, particularly in the context of emerging economies. I examine how governance mechanisms such as leverage and dividend policy influence firm performance, with a specific focus on manufacturing firms in Pakistan. I am also interested in the ethical dimensions of auditing, and my work explores how external auditors??? ethical behavior affects audit quality from the client???s perspective. In addition, my research investigates sustainable value creation through Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) reporting, providing systematic insights from economic and accounting perspectives on how organizations can enhance transparency and long-term value. Beyond accounting and governance, I also explore the role of software development practices, process efficiency, and end-user communication in improving software quality. Overall, my research aims to generate interdisciplinary insights that support better governance practices, promote sustainability, and improve organizational performance through effective management and technological processes.
