Brief Statement of research work

A highly experienced academic with a Ph.D. in Economics and Management Sciences from AgroParisTech, France, currently serving as Head and Professor in the Department of Economics at Government College University Faisalabad, Pakistan. My research interests are Digital Economy, Sustainable development goals and Energy Ecocomics. My research focuses on the intersection of the digital economy, sustainable development, energy economics, and environmental sustainability. Over the years, I have developed a strong portfolio of empirical research examining how financial development, renewable energy adoption, globalization, tourism, and technological advancement influence environmental quality, economic growth, and social welfare across developed and developing countries. I have also worked extensively on disaster resilience, climate change vulnerability, tourism economics, income inequality, and social capital, linking these themes to the broader framework of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
