Brief Statement of research work

Dr. Muhammad Usman Qamar is an assistant professor at the Institute of Microbiology, Government College University, Faisalabad, Pakistan, as an AMR and Infectious Disease Specialist. My research focuses on the molecular mechanism of antimicrobial resistance, antibiotic residue, antimicrobial stewardship, infectious disease surveillance, and food safety under the ONE HEALTH framework. I have completed doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships at Cardiff University, UK; the University of Geneva, Switzerland; and Washington State University, USA. Dr. Qamar is a certified Biorisk Management Professional (IFBA, USA) and a Future Leader Mentor Fellow (FLMF) from the American Society for Microbiology, USA. He has secured multiple national and international research grants (26.4 million) and published over 100 peer-reviewed articles in international journals. I am open to collaborating on One Health issue.
