Brief Statement of research work

My research integrates materials science, radiochemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, and bioinorganic chemistry to address challenges in energy, healthcare, and environmental sustainability. I develop advanced nanocomposites for energy storage applications, focusing on improving electrochemical performance and durability. In radiopharmaceutical chemistry, I work on the production of diagnostic and therapeutic radioisotopes to support medical imaging and targeted radiotherapy. I also explore the degradation of dyes, surfactants, pharmaceuticals, and polymers using high-energy radiation techniques. I also investigate the mineral composition, antifungal, and antioxidant activities of medicinal plant extracts. In medicinal chemistry, I design and evaluate antimicrobial peptides and biologically active metal complexes, including Schiff base complexes, supported by X-ray crystallographic studies to understand structure???activity relationships. Additionally, I develop novel analytical methods to enhance pharmaceutical quality control. Overall, my work bridges nanostructure based functional materials, radiochemistry, and molecular bioinorganic systems for sustainable and biomedical applications.
