Brief Statement of research work

My research focuses on corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and financial decision-making in emerging markets, particularly Pakistan. I examine how board characteristics, gender diversity, and governance structures influence firm behavior, financial leverage, and investment efficiency. Using empirical methods and firm-level data from listed companies, my work aims to provide evidence that informs both academic debate and policy development. I am particularly interested in how inclusive governance practices, such as the presence of female directors, shape corporate outcomes and risk management. Through rigorous quantitative analysis, my research seeks to contribute to the understanding of sustainable and responsible corporate practices in developing economies.
