Brief Statement of research work
Dr. Sadia Akram???s research centers on the study of spirituality, gender, and human consciousness in contemporary literature. Her work investigates how literary texts represent the transformation of selfhood through spiritual and philosophical experiences. By combining literary theory with mysticism, she examines the ways gender identity and subjectivity are shaped within spiritual and cultural contexts. Her book Spiral of Self reflects her interest in the poetics of selfhood and the exploration of inner consciousness. Through her research, she aims to contribute to contemporary literary studies by bridging theoretical inquiry with spiritual and gender-based perspectives.
